Head of Development - Netherlands

Company We are exclusively working with a successful solar development platform, who to date have secured circa 1.2GW of greenfield projects across the market. Due to further growth, they are now seeking to hire a senior development professional to further define/execute their long term strategy across the Dutch market. As such, they now require a Head of Development to further shape the future of the company. Responsibilities Leading all aspects of project development activities Lead in all business development activities for the platform Managing key developments and supporting where necessary to maximise project success through to ready-to-build Full oversight of projects through the development cycle from origination, through land acquisition, permitting, grid connection conditions, through to financial close Manage/Lead a diverse team of 30 professionals Assess new projects proposed by developers for development and make recommendations on funding such project developments Assess new routes to market and explore opportunities across further technologies Requirements Minimum 5 Years development experience Strong proven track record of originating/executing new opportunities Proven experience in managing/further growing a large team Well established network across the Dutch market Fluent in Dutch/English Previous Business Development/sales experience within Renewables required
