This is a pivotal opportunity for an accomplished Private Equity professional to join a leading private equity firm as a Director, focusing on new investment origination and execution across the German-speaking markets. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving the firm's growth strategy in this key region, identifying and leading significant platform investments.

Our client, a well-established private equity firm known for its disciplined investment approach and strong track record across various sectors, is expanding its investment capabilities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role offers the chance to operate with significant autonomy while leveraging the resources and reputation of an experienced global team. This position is being managed via Options Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Sourcing & Origination:* Proactively identify, screen, and originate new private equity investment opportunities within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Cultivate and expand a robust network of intermediaries, advisors, and management teams in the region to generate proprietary deal flow.

Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence:* Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, encompassing financial, commercial, operational, and legal analysis, to assess investment viability and risks. Develop sophisticated financial models, valuations, and compelling investment theses.

Transaction Execution:* Spearhead all aspects of transaction execution from initial structuring and negotiation to deal closing. Coordinate effectively with internal investment teams, legal counsel, and other external advisors to ensure efficient and successful transaction completion.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation:* Actively monitor and support portfolio companies, contributing to strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and the implementation of value creation plans. Participate in board-level discussions and assist management teams in achieving growth and exit objectives.

Market Analysis & Strategy:* Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments across the German-speaking markets to inform investment strategy and identify emerging opportunities.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the firm's activities in the DACH region.

Relationship Management:* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners, co-investors, and other key stakeholders within the private equity ecosystem.

Location: This position is based in Frankfurt, Germany.
