A confidential private equity firm is seeking an experienced Private Equity Investment professional to join its team at the Director level. This role offers a significant opportunity to lead and execute complex transactions across the private equity asset class, contributing directly to the firm's investment strategy and value creation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a central role in identifying, evaluating, and managing investments, impacting the firm's portfolio and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director, your responsibilities will span the entire private equity investment lifecycle. These include:

Deal Sourcing and Origination:* Proactively identify and assess new investment opportunities that align with the firm's investment criteria and strategic objectives.

Due Diligence Leadership:* Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial modeling, commercial assessment, market analysis, and operational reviews. Coordinate and manage external advisors (legal, tax, commercial, technical) to ensure thorough and robust evaluation.

Transaction Execution:* Structure and negotiate investment terms, lead transaction documentation, and manage the closing process for new investments.

Portfolio Management:* Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, work with management teams to implement value enhancement strategies, and contribute to exit planning and execution. This involves regular financial analysis, strategic reviews, and operational oversight.

Market Research and Sector Analysis:* Conduct in-depth research into specific sectors and market trends to identify potential investment themes and support the firm's investment thesis.

Investment Committee Presentations:* Prepare detailed investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee, articulating investment rationale, risks, and projected returns.

Team Leadership:* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to the overall strength of the investment team.

Location & Compensation

This position is based in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
