Our client, a Confidential Infra Fund, is seeking a Managing Director / Head of Development to lead its infrastructure investment and development efforts in Poland. The Opportunity:

As Managing Director / Head of Development - Infrastructure (Poland), you will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing new infrastructure development opportunities across Poland. This senior leadership position requires an individual with a proven track record in the full lifecycle of infrastructure project development, from origination and structuring to financing, execution, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:* Define and implement the fund's infrastructure development strategy for Poland, aligning with overall investment objectives.

Deal Origination & Sourcing:* Proactively identify and cultivate a robust pipeline of greenfield, brownfield, and expansion infrastructure projects. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, government agencies, local authorities, and industry partners.

Project Evaluation & Structuring:* Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, financial modeling, risk assessment, and legal structuring for potential investments. Develop innovative and commercially viable project structures.

Execution & Financing:* Oversee the successful execution of infrastructure projects, including securing necessary permits, managing construction phases, and arranging project financing with commercial banks and other lenders.

Portfolio Management:* Provide strategic oversight and active management of existing infrastructure assets within the Polish portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and value creation post-investment.

Team Leadership:* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of development and investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Market Intelligence:* Maintain a deep understanding of the Polish infrastructure market, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in infrastructure development and private equity investment, demonstrating a clear ability to lead complex projects from inception to operation. A strong network within the Polish infrastructure sector and a comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics are essential.
