Key Responsibilities:

As an Investment Director, you will be instrumental in driving the fund's investment activities in France, encompassing the full private equity investment cycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Investment Origination and Sourcing:* Proactively identify, evaluate, and source new private equity investment opportunities within the French infrastructure sector. Cultivate and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including developers, operators, financial advisors, and institutional partners, to generate a strong deal pipeline.

Transaction Execution Leadership:* Lead all phases of the investment process from initial screening and preliminary assessment through to transaction closing. This involves comprehensive due diligence across commercial, financial, technical, legal, and environmental aspects. You will be responsible for developing intricate financial models, performing rigorous valuation analysis, and assessing investment risks.

Structuring and Negotiation:* Design, negotiate, and finalize complex transaction structures, term sheets, and definitive legal agreements. Effectively manage and coordinate external advisors, including legal counsel, technical consultants, and financial advisors, to ensure efficient and successful deal execution.

Portfolio Management and Value Creation:* Actively manage and monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies. Work closely with management teams to identify and implement strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth opportunities that enhance asset value. Participate in board meetings and contribute to exit strategy development and execution.

Market Analysis and Investment Strategy:* Contribute to the fund’s overall investment strategy by conducting in-depth market research, identifying emerging sector trends, and analyzing competitive dynamics within the French and broader European infrastructure private equity landscape. Provide insights that inform investment thesis development.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:* Lead and mentor junior investment professionals, fostering a culture focused on analytical rigor, attention to detail, and professional development. Oversee their analytical work and contribute to their growth within the firm.
