Managing Director - Investor Relations & Financial Media

This presents a significant leadership opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive investor relations and financial media strategy for a prominent Private Equity firm. Based in Hong Kong, this Managing Director role is critical to shaping the firm's external communications, strengthening relationships with its Limited Partner base, and enhancing its public profile within the global financial community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in articulating the firm’s strategy, performance, and value proposition to a sophisticated executive audience.

The firm operates exclusively within the private equity asset class, managing substantial capital across diverse investment strategies. This position offers the chance to operate at the highest level of a respected financial institution, directly influencing its narrative and engagement with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Relations Strategy & Execution:* Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations program designed to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective Limited Partners (LPs). This includes overseeing regular LP communications, performance reporting, and responding to ad-hoc inquiries with precision and transparency. The Managing Director will play a central role in supporting fundraising initiatives, preparing investor materials, and managing due diligence processes to effectively communicate the firm's investment thesis and track record.

Financial Media & Public Relations:* Formulate and execute the firm’s financial media strategy, ensuring consistent and impactful representation in relevant financial publications and news outlets. This involves building and nurturing relationships with key financial journalists, identifying opportunities for thought leadership, and preparing senior leadership for media engagements. The role is responsible for proactive media outreach, managing reputation, and handling public inquiries to strategically position the firm and its expertise within the broader financial ecosystem.

Strategic Communication:* Act as a key advisor to senior management on all matters pertaining to external communications, market perception, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure messaging across all platforms is cohesive, accurate, and aligned with the firm’s objectives.

Team Leadership:* Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in investor relations and financial media functions.

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Compensation: A competitive compensation package, commensurate with the seniority and responsibilities of a Managing Director in the Private Equity sector, will be offered.
