(Senior) Investment Associate

Role Overview

COI Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on growth buyouts in the DACH region, is hiring a (Senior) Investment Associate for its Frankfurt office.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the identification and analysis of growth buyout investment opportunities in the DACH region

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market and competitor analyses, and due diligence processes

- Build financial models to assess potential investments, based on a deep understanding of HGB and IFRS financial statements

- Support the deal captain with existing portfolio companies on value creation and strategy projects

- Closely monitor portfolio companies and prepare reporting for the investor group

- Participate in negotiations and deal closings

- Build and maintain the COI Partners network of entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

- Excellent academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Mathematics

- At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in M&A/corporate finance advisory, a leading investment bank or boutique, strategy consulting, and/or transaction-related work at an accounting firm

- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, and modeling

- Fluent German and English; additional languages a plus
