Managing Director, Overseas Infrastructure Equity Investment (USD Fund)

Role Overview

China Merchants Capital is hiring a Managing Director for its overseas (USD fund) infrastructure equity investment team, based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead research and formulation of allocation and investment strategy for key overseas infrastructure and new-infrastructure sectors

- Lead sourcing, analysis and evaluation of investment projects; take full responsibility for due diligence, deal structuring and negotiation

- Lead the team through post-investment management, and be deeply involved in exit planning and execution

- Maintain and expand the industry network (entrepreneurs, industry players, investment institutions) to build continuous quality deal sourcing for the fund

- Participate in fund branding and fundraising activities

Qualifications

Master's degree or above from a leading domestic or international university; 10+ years of private equity experience, having led multiple overseas infrastructure projects through the full fundraise-invest-manage-exit cycle; familiarity with mainstream overseas infrastructure investment institutions; CFA/CPA/ACCA preferred; strong leadership and cross-department communication skills.
