This is a prime opportunity for an accomplished investment professional to join Brookfield's globally recognized Real Estate Private Equity platform in Tokyo, Japan. The Vice President, Investments will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing complex real estate transactions, directly contributing to the growth and performance of a significant private equity portfolio. The Vice President, Investments will be a key member of the investment team, responsible for the full lifecycle of private equity real estate investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Sourcing and Evaluation:* Identify, screen, and rigorously evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across diverse property sectors in Japan and potentially the broader APAC region. This includes leading comprehensive financial analysis, including detailed modeling, valuation, and return projections.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment:* Conduct thorough due diligence, market research, and risk assessments to support investment recommendations. This involves analyzing property fundamentals, market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments.

Transaction Execution:* Participate in all phases of transaction execution, from initial screening and structuring to negotiation, legal documentation review, and closing. Collaborate with internal and external advisors, including legal counsel, consultants, and brokers.

Portfolio Management Support:* Support asset management initiatives for existing portfolio companies and investments, identifying value creation opportunities, monitoring performance, and assisting with strategic dispositions.

Reporting and Strategy:* Prepare and present detailed investment memorandums and recommendations to internal investment committees. Contribute to broader market intelligence gathering and investment strategy formulation.
