BDC Capital is the investment arm of Canada's Business Development Bank, operating a $350M growth-stage venture fund focused on scaling the next generation of Canadian venture-backed champions. The fund participates with $5M–$25M in late-stage companies and manages over $500M in AUM across 26 active portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities including market research, financial analysis, and competitive assessments

- Maintain investment documentation and monitor portfolio company performance

- Provide financial forecasts, statistical analysis, and reporting

- Support the full investment lifecycle from origination through portfolio management

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Science, or Engineering

- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, or a related investment field

- Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities

- Advanced analytical and communication skills

Preferred: CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials
