Special Situations Analyst / Associate, 2027 (Hong Kong)

Bain Capital Special Situations is Bain Capital's global platform for hybrid capital across corporate and asset-backed opportunities, partnering with companies, sponsors, founders, corporates, and asset owners on flexible capital solutions for growth, transition, and complex situations. The team spans more than 150 investment professionals across 24 offices on four continents, with roughly $24 billion in assets under management, part of Bain Capital's broader $225 billion private markets platform.

About the role: this is a two-year Analyst/Associate program based in Hong Kong, with potential for ongoing employment afterward.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental, company-specific research including on-site visits and conversations with customers, suppliers, and industry contacts

- Perform industry-level analysis to inform the investment process

- Build earnings models and perform valuation analysis

- Develop and communicate proactive buy/sell recommendations

- Learn the firm's investment process, combining direct communication with data-driven written investment summaries
