Head of Digital Factory — Digital Transformation | Portfolio Management

To strengthen its operational team at AURELIUS Growth, the firm is hiring a Head of Digital Factory to build and lead an in-house Digital Factory from scratch, positioning it as the catalyst for digital transformation across AURELIUS portfolio companies in the Mittelstand segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and lead the AURELIUS Growth Digital Factory, defining its strategy as a central platform for value-creating digitalisation projects across the portfolio

- Translate portfolio opportunities into concrete digital use cases with measurable business impact (e.g. customer-facing apps, core process automation)

- Own end-to-end delivery of MVPs — from ideation and prototyping through to roll-out and sustainable embedding within portfolio companies

- Manage cross-functional teams spanning Tech, Data and Business; coordinate external partners including agencies and implementation partners

- Act as an AI Evangelist, driving adoption of digital and AI capabilities across the portfolio

Candidate Profile:

- Proven track record building or leading a digital or innovation factory in a consulting, corporate, or private equity environment

- Deep understanding of digital transformation in the Mittelstand or mid-market industrial companies

- Strong technology background combined with commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills

- Experience managing cross-functional and external teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
