Role Overview

aream Group has worked exclusively in renewable energy for nearly 20 years and has established itself as one of Europe's specialists in this market. Based at its Düsseldorf harbor office with around 50 employees, aream structures renewable energy funds and is a leading acquirer and manager of wind and solar parks across Europe, covering fund and asset management, project development, and operations management. The firm is hiring an Investment Manager for its Düsseldorf office (or hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in renewable energy, with a focus on wind, solar, and energy storage

- Provide commercial oversight of an established joint venture with a leading European infrastructure fund

- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to assess economic viability and return potential

- Prepare and present investment proposals and decision papers

- Work closely with internal project development and legal teams as well as external partners and advisors

- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovation in the energy sector

- Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's investment strategy and portfolio management approach

Qualifications

- Degree in business, finance, engineering, or a comparable field

- Five to ten years of experience in investments and M&A
