About This Role
Apollo Global Management is seeking a Principal for its Atlas Deal Team to join the strategic oversight team of Atlas SP, the firm's leading high-growth asset-backed finance business with over $50 billion AUM and over $50 billion in annual origination.
About Apollo Atlas SP:
Atlas SP is the only large-scale warehouse financing and securitized products business operating outside the banking system. As a full-service securitized products platform backed entirely by investor capital, Atlas operates front-to-back across origination, risk, portfolio management, finance, technology, operations, and treasury.
The Role:
The Atlas Deal Team at Apollo consists of 4 senior professionals responsible for strategic oversight of the business. This Principal role serves as the operational glue of the team, driving execution across active workstreams and serving as the primary interface between Atlas SP leadership and Apollo Senior Leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as day-to-day execution lead across all active workstreams, coordinating junior team members and driving deal momentum from origination through close
- Prepare and present analysis on key strategic topics for senior leadership and internal stakeholders
- Set Atlas priorities including capital structure design, capital formation strategy, business strategy across new asset classes and products, and operating model development
- Execute on key strategic initiatives including big transactions, fundraises, strategic partnerships, restructurings, and growth initiatives
- Manage ongoing portfolio oversight including reporting and financial planning
- Work with the Atlas SP CEO and Apollo Senior Leadership on major decisions
Qualifications:
- 6-10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or asset-backed finance
- Deep expertise in securitized products, asset-backed finance, or leveraged credit
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and workstreams
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
