About This Role
At Petcube, we create technology to understand pets and help them live their best lives. As a leader in pet tech, we leverage data to enhance our products and services, making life better for pets and their owners. We’re launching a new subscription mobile app for the US market, and we’re looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to own paid growth from day one. This is a strategic, high-ownership role across Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and ad networks, with room to layer in additional channels as we scale, but the primary responsibility is to work with Meta. This is not a campaign-launch executor role. We need someone who has scaled a subscription app profitably in the US market before, thinks in LTV-payback horizons rather than day-1 ROAS, and can build a paid acquisition function from the ground up. What you’ll own Full ownership of paid user acquisition on Meta Ads : strategy, structure, budget, optimization. Building the paid acquisition function: account architecture, naming conventions, measurement setup, testing cadence. Profitable scaling against subscription unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback period, trial-to-paid, ROAS D7/D30/D90, not just spending the budget. Measurement and attribution. Works closely with product, analytics, and design teams. Reporting that connects ad metrics to business metrics: CAC, LTV, payback, blended efficiency, and translating them into clear decisions for leadership. Requirements 3+ years in paid user acquisition for mobile apps, with experience on subscription models Hands-on experience scaling subscription apps profitably in the US market : you can walk through a real app you grew, the unit economics, and the decisions behind them Deep, hands-on expertise in Meta App Campaigns (Advantage+ App Campaigns, AEO, Value Optimization) Multi-platform experience: iOS, Android, and web-to-app flows Fluency in subscription metrics: CAC, LTV, CAC: LTV ratio, payback period, ROAS D7/D30/D90, trial-to-paid conversion and how they trade off Strong working knowledge of SKAdNetwork (conversion value schemas, postback handling) and at least one MMP (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch) Advanced analytical skills: you build your own dashboards and pull your own insights Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English Nice-to-have Background in pet training, education, or lifestyle subscription apps Hands-on Apple Search Ads experience Experience launching a paid acquisition function from zero (0→1 product stage) Working knowledge of ASO and how it interacts with paid traffic Experience managing relationships with ad networks and negotiating placements/rates Comfort with automation tools (rules, scripts, Zapier) to remove manual work Benefits Great compensation package with company-wide benefits Silicon Valley-rooted startup environment with a sharp focus on the US market Rapid professional development in a healthy corporate culture 24 days of paid vacation Remote work Health benefits
