About This Fund
Voyager Partners Fund I is the inaugural investment vehicle of Voyager Ventures, an early-stage climate technology venture capital firm founded in 2021 by Sierra Peterson and Sarah Sclarsic. The fund reached its final close at $100 million in April 2022, raising an oversubscribed vehicle that established Voyager Ventures as one of the leading dedicated early-stage climate technology investors in North America and Europe. Alongside Fund I, the firm simultaneously raised a Select Fund I vehicle providing additional co-investment and concentrated access to the highest-conviction opportunities within the Fund I portfolio, further demonstrating the breadth of institutional investor demand for Voyager's differentiated climate investment strategy.
Voyager Partners Fund I targets early-stage climate technology companies developing breakthrough solutions across the mobility, energy, materials, food, built environment, analytics, industrial systems, and carbon removal sectors. The fund's investment thesis is anchored in the conviction that the largest economic opportunity in the decarbonisation transition lies at the earliest stages, where venture capital can shape the trajectory of breakthrough technologies before commercial scale demands. Peterson and Sclarsic built the fund's LP base with a focus on institutional investors who share the view that climate technology investing is a commercially superior opportunity driven by the global transition away from carbon-intensive systems. Voyager's portfolio construction targets companies with significant carbon abatement potential — measured by the fund's stated ambition of sequestering or averting at least 500 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent across the lifetime of Fund I's portfolio.
Following Fund I's successful close and deployment, Voyager Ventures raised its $275 million Fund II in January 2026 — a 175 percent increase in committed capital — demonstrating exceptional investor confidence and early portfolio performance. Combined across Fund I and Fund II, Voyager manages approximately $475 million and has invested in breakthrough climate companies including ENAPI, Leeta Materials, and Electroflow Technologies. Fund I established Voyager's position at the forefront of the early-stage climate technology investment landscape, earning the firm recognition as a pioneer in a sector where systematic, science-grounded investment discipline is increasingly essential to separating transformative technologies from commercially unscalable solutions.
