Including co-investment vehicles raised in connection with Fund I's strategy, total capital commitments reached $750 million, bringing Springcoast's assets under management to over $1.5 billion as of December 31, 2025. Springcoast Partners I focuses on minority growth equity investments in scaled software and technology companies with profitable unit economics and established operating models. The fund targets mature US software businesses that have demonstrated clear product-market fit and are positioned to accelerate growth through capital and operational support. Springcoast's investment philosophy centres on a concentrated portfolio approach, with portfolio companies receiving hands-on support from a network of operating partners drawn from leading technology businesses including BigCommerce, Proofpoint, and the Linux Foundation. The fund demonstrated strong early returns, having returned over $100 million to investors through liquidity events as of December 31, 2025. Portfolio investments include Acronis (cybersecurity), Egnyte (content governance), Nanit (consumer technology), Overhaul (cargo risk management), and Peek (an operating system for experiences businesses). The investor base comprises large fund-of-funds, institutional family offices, insurance companies, pension funds, and consultant relationships. Springcoast founders Staude and Wentworth bring a decade of shared investment experience to the firm, having refined their growth equity thesis together before launching Springcoast in 2023.
