Prosperus Growth Fund

Prosperus Growth: Croatian PE/growth fund (~€70M target) by Prosperus Invest, backing SMEs in tourism, renewables, and tech across the Adriatic.

About This Fund

Prosperus Growth is a private equity growth fund managed by Prosperus Invest, a Zagreb-based fund management company with over twenty years of experience investing across the Adria region. Established as Prosperus Growth Capital, the fund was designed to provide growth equity and buyout capital to small and medium-sized enterprises in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina — Central and Eastern European markets traditionally underserved by institutional private equity. Prosperus Invest brings a hands-on operational approach, co-investing alongside mandatory pension funds and international development finance institutions anchoring the fund's LP base.

The fund pursues a regional growth equity and buyout strategy targeting established SMEs with consolidation potential, with individual investment sizes ranging from €5 million to €10 million. At least 75% of the portfolio is committed to Croatian companies, with the remaining capital allocated across the broader Adria basin. Priority sectors include tourism and hospitality, renewable energy, healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods, and business process management — sectors where Prosperus Invest has accumulated deep operational expertise and proprietary deal flow through its two-decade regional presence. The fund's legal domicile is Croatia, managed under the framework of the Croatian Capital Markets Act and co-anchored by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR), each contributing 49.99% at first close.

Prosperus Growth completed its first close at approximately €51 million — primarily anchored by domestic mandatory pension funds and the EIF — and was subsequently targeting a maximum of €70 million in a final closing. The fund's investment activity includes the acquisition of Croatian IT services provider Neos, reflecting the strategy's focus on consolidation-driven value creation in professional services and technology. The fund is managed by a senior team with entrepreneurial, management consulting, and corporate finance backgrounds spanning the Adria region across hospitality, infrastructure, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals.
