About This Fund
Partners Group Secondary VIII is a $10-12 billion secondary fund managed by Swiss investment company Partners Group. The firm is based in Zug, Swizertland. As a financial product under Article 8 of the Disclosure Regulation, the fund promotes the following environmental characteristics: (i) a reduction in investments in fossil fuels; and (ii) an avoidance of investments in the deforestation or burning of natural ecosystems for the purposes of land clearance. The fund will benefit from private equity funds and private companies willing to make early exits to free their capital. Partners Group raised $3.2 billion and $2.8 billion for its last two secondary funds in 2020 and 2016, respectively.
