About This Fund
The buyout fund, CVC Capital Partners Asia VI, has raised US$6.8 billion in commitments, making it 50% larger than its predecessor, CVC Capital Partners Asia V. The fund has seen strong demand from new and returning blue chip investors, exceeding its US$6 billion target and original hard cap. The fund focuses on control, co-control, and partnership investments in high quality businesses in core consumer and services sectors across Asia. CVC has been active in Asia since 1999 and has made more than 80 acquisitions in the region. CVC’s Asia platform has grown significantly, raising over US$21 billion of commitments across its Asia focused funds. The fund leverages CVC’s deep industry expertise, pan-regional local office presence, and the global CVC Network to identify attractive investment opportunities and partner with founders and high-quality management teams in the fast-growing Asian private equity markets. Asia VI will focus on control, co-control and partnership investments in high quality businesses in core consumer and services sectors across Asia. Typical enterprise values are between $250 million and $1.5 billion. CVC invests in businesses operating in domestic demand-driven industries in both mature and developing countries that are: - Core sectors benefiting from the local rising middle class, growing consumption and other demographic and secular trends in Asia, such as consumer and consumer services, retail, financial services, healthcare, TMT and business services - Established businesses with superior market positions, a good track record and solid reputations
