About This Fund
B Capital Opportunities Fund II is the second late-stage growth vehicle of B Capital Group, a global technology-focused private equity and venture firm co-founded by Howard Morgan and Raj Ganguly with strategic backing from Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The fund closed in March 2024 at $750 million, nearly doubling the size of its predecessor B Capital Opportunities Fund I, and was anchored by private and public pension funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and sovereign wealth funds. B Capital Opportunities Fund II makes primary and secondary investments in later-stage technology, healthcare, and climate tech companies, with a geographic focus on North America and Asia. The fund's core strategy is to identify follow-on investment opportunities in high-performing existing B Capital portfolio companies that have demonstrated product-market fit and are scaling toward profitability — allowing investors to access proven operators at a stage of reduced binary risk. A portion of the vehicle is allocated to new investments where B Capital's value-added capabilities, including its strategic partnership with BCG's global consulting network, can materially accelerate value creation. B Capital brings a distinctive model to growth investing: the firm's partnerships with BCG and other corporate partners give portfolio companies access to top-tier advisory resources, C-suite networks, and enterprise customer introductions that independent sponsors cannot replicate. Representative portfolio exposure includes a secondary investment in Icertis, a leading contract intelligence software platform. With offices in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, and London, B Capital operates as a globally integrated growth equity platform bridging technology ecosystems in Silicon Valley, Southeast Asia, and India.
