About This Fund
Asha Ventures Fund-I is an India-based venture capital fund. The target corpus for the fund is $100 million. The fund plans to invest at an early growth stage in companies targeting the emerging middle class across sectors, including financial services, healthcare, education, climate, and agriculture using technology. Founded in 2015 by Vikram Gandhi and Pramod Bhasin, Asha Ventures has a track record of investing in startups with a focus on doing good while doing well. The Fund has received commitments from Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, a private sector bank, as well as family offices of returning LPs. The fund plans to invest in 4-5 companies every year, actively building out its portfolio.
