Ada Ventures successfully closed in March 2024 its £63m fund, Ada Ventures Fund II, which will be used to support impact startups. The VC firm, Ada Ventures, is set to invest between £250,000 and £1.5m in diverse impact startups with a focus on climate equity, economic empowerment, and healthy aging. The firm invests in seed and pre-seed stages. The fund has already made 12 investments, including HACE and the Moon Hub, and has received financial backing from various institutions and founder investors. Additionally, Ada Ventures has launched a regionally focused angel investing programme. The new fund has received financial backing from the British Business Bank, the University of Edinburgh, Big Society Capital, Legal & General Capital, Atomico, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) and Molten Ventures.
