Achieve Partners Workforce Fund

Achieve Partners Workforce Fund is a ~$200M buyout fund using apprenticeship programs in healthcare IT and tech. Top-quartile performance.

About This Fund

Achieve Partners Workforce Fund is the inaugural buyout fund from Achieve Partners, an investment firm founded on the thesis that companies in skill-intensive sectors can solve talent shortages — and drive returns — by building apprenticeship programs at scale inside their portfolio companies. The fund closed with approximately $200 million in capital commitments, establishing Achieve as a pioneer in the 'workforce-focused buyout' category. With a 2023 vintage, the fund acquired controlling stakes in technology-enabled and healthcare services businesses operating in sectors facing acute structural talent deficits, and subsequently embedded proprietary apprenticeship programs that trained workers on-the-job while expanding the companies' service capacity.

Achieve Partners deploys buyout capital in lower and small cap companies — typically in healthcare IT, cloud migration, data center operations, behavioral health, and biotech — where organic talent pipelines have historically been insufficient to support growth. The firm works closely with management teams to design and scale apprenticeship programs tailored to each company's specific skill requirements, funding training costs through operating income and grant programs. This integrated operating model is designed to reduce labor costs, accelerate revenue growth, and differentiate acquired companies as talent-brand leaders in their sectors, creating a compounding value creation loop that conventional buyout operators cannot easily replicate.

Achieve Partners Workforce Fund has already generated strong early results: as of September 30, 2025, the fund ranked in the top quartile of the Cambridge Associates U.S. Buyouts benchmark across net DPI, TVPI, and IRR, and in the top 5 percent of the peer set for DPI — reflecting rapid value creation and early capital return. The fund has announced three exits, including the $465 million sale of Optimum Healthcare IT to Infosys. The strong performance of Fund I enabled the firm to raise Achieve Partners Workforce Fund II at $450 million — more than double Fund I's size — in April 2026, validating the apprenticeship-at-scale investment model.
