Infrastructure Investor Global Summit 2027

The world's largest infrastructure investment summit

About this event

Infrastructure Investor Global Summit is the largest annual gathering of the global infrastructure investment community — four days in Berlin produced by Infrastructure Investor (PEI Group), drawing more than 3,000 LPs, GPs and policymakers. The summit is the single most important event on the global infrastructure calendar and the structural anchor for fundraising, allocator coverage and policy debate in the asset class.

The agenda spans the full institutional infrastructure spectrum. Energy programming covers renewables generation, grid infrastructure, battery storage, hydrogen, energy transition platforms and the changing economics of conventional energy under decarbonization pressure. Digital infrastructure programming addresses data centers, fiber, towers and edge — the categories that have come to dominate new infrastructure allocation. Transport programming covers ports, airports, rail and the increasingly relevant logistics-and-mobility intersection. Social infrastructure (healthcare facilities, education, justice) is treated as its own track. Water and waste continue to grow as institutional categories.

Cross-asset themes — debt vs. equity structures, secondaries and continuation vehicles, the role of sovereign capital, the geopolitical environment for cross-border infrastructure, and the regulatory landscape across major jurisdictions — run throughout the agenda. The summit has become the venue where major policy actors (DG Energy, US DOE, the major sovereign wealth fund infrastructure heads) communicate strategic direction to the institutional capital that funds it.

For LPs, the summit is the most efficient venue in the world for global infrastructure GP coverage in a single trip. For GPs, attendance is essentially required for any infrastructure firm raising globally.

Who attends

Global infrastructure LPs across pension, sovereign wealth, insurance, fund-of-funds and family office; the full global GP set in infrastructure equity, debt and operating platforms; policymakers, regulators and major sovereign capital teams; the legal, banking, engineering and advisory ecosystem.

Why this event matters

Global infrastructure has moved from a small portfolio sleeve into one of the largest and fastest-growing private-capital categories, driven by the energy transition buildout, digital infrastructure demand and the structural retreat of public balance sheets from infrastructure financing. The summit is the dominant annual venue for understanding and acting on that capital deployment opportunity.
