YADAY is a venture capital firm that evolved from the Afflelou Family Office (AA&Sons), aiming to be a new kind of VC. The firm operates as an ecosystem of global strategic partners, focusing on accelerating the adoption of Applied AI. YADAY's mission is to build a portfolio of scale-ups capable of becoming global category leaders across Europe, the US, and the Middle East. YADAY was formally launched in 2024 by co-founders Romain Afflelou and Pauline Bovyn, building upon the decade-long investment track record of the Afflelou Family Office. Romain Afflelou, based in Miami, brings over 20 years of experience in angel investing, digital transformation, venture capital, and family office investments, having previously developed AA&Sons into a diversified investment platform. Pauline Bovyn, based in Paris, contributes over 20 years of experience at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and investment, with prior leadership roles at TotalEnergies and as COO of AA&Sons. The firm's name, YADAY, combines the Hebrew word "YAD" (hand) and the English word "DAY," symbolizing their continuous and strong support for entrepreneurs.

YADAY has a diverse portfolio, having invested in over 140 startups and 17 funds worldwide through its family office roots. The firm's portfolio includes companies such as Aeler, Aircall, Alma, AmWell, Anello, AnnaBella, Artpoint, Ascendance, Audion, Azfalte, Blue dot, BodyVision Medical, Bravo Sierra, Bruvi, Cashbee, Circle Sportswear, Cocoli, Coinhouse, Cowboy, and D+ for care. YADAY also operates a "Club" that brings together business angels, entrepreneurs, and family offices for co-investment opportunities, pooling capital, expertise, and networks.

Beyond the co-founders, the leadership includes Valentin Bar-Cohen, Head of Investment, based in Tel Aviv. Valentin, an HEC Paris graduate, has a background spanning M&A, public policy, investment banking, and venture capital, bringing financial rigor and operational proximity to founders.
