WestWave Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm that strategically invests in deep-tech founders, primarily focusing on AI-native enterprise software, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. The firm targets companies from their inception, backing them at the earliest stages, specifically from Seed to Series B rounds. Their investment philosophy centers on identifying breakthrough technology before it reaches broader consensus, emphasizing conviction in their chosen ventures.

The firm was founded in 2017 by industry veteran Warren Weiss, known affectionately as “Bunny.” Weiss, a former four-time CEO of public and venture-backed companies, previously worked with Steve Jobs at NeXT and was recognized on the Forbes Midas List of Top Technology Investors for his work with SilverSpring Networks. WestWave Capital was established with the goal of leveraging the partners' extensive entrepreneurial and investment experience to guide enterprise startups from their initial seed funding through to successful exits.

WestWave Capital boasts a diverse portfolio of over 70 companies, with more than 15 successful exits. Notable investments include Antaris, an AI-driven platform for satellite mission design and operations, which recently secured a $28 million Series A round led by WestWave Capital. Other key portfolio companies span various deep-tech areas, such as Tugboat Logic (governance, risk & compliance), Accurics (cloud security posture management), The Loops (AI-powered customer support intelligence, acquired by IFS), Spectro Cloud (AI management), Prezent (business presentation AI), StackGen (AI-powered autonomous infrastructure), and Theta Lake (AI-powered compliance and security).

The firm's leadership team comprises experienced operators and investors who have successfully built, scaled, and exited companies. Warren Weiss serves as Founder and Partner. Gaurav Manglik, a Partner, co-founded CliQr Technologies, which was acquired by Cisco, and holds several patents in distributed computing. Rohan Puranik, also a Partner, co-founded MindSumo, acquired by MBO Partners, and previously worked at the Stanford University accelerator, StartX. Damon Lewis, the CFO, brings over 25 years of financial management experience, including a background at Arthur Andersen and as a Partner at Sensiba. Rong Cao is also listed as a Partner.
