The firm was founded in 2018 by Nate Williams and Chris Kim, originating as an incubation at Kleiner Perkins with support from Google Ventures. The leadership team brings extensive experience to the firm. Nate Williams, Founder and Managing Partner, is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with a background as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Kleiner Perkins, focusing on DeepTech opportunities in IoT, Robotics, AI/ML, and Autonomous Vehicles. Chris Kim, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, is a scientist and technologist who previously served as CTO for August Home, Inc., with expertise in cybersecurity and rapid product development. Annie Le, VP of Operations, oversees the firm's operational aspects, including fund administration, legal, tax, marketing, and investor relations, drawing on her experience in blockchain and partnerships.
