Triple Impact Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm that strategically invests in pre-seed and seed-stage companies. Triple Impact Capital was co-founded by Bennett Thomas and Justin Smithline in 2020. The co-founders bring a blend of experience from technology entrepreneurship, venture capital, finance, and corporate sustainability. Justin Smithline, a former technology entrepreneur, previously served as a partner at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA), where he invested in and mentored over 100 companies. Bennett Thomas has a background in finance and corporate sustainability, having founded the EarthView sustainability platform at Hersha Hospitality Trust, which generated significant portfolio value and achieved notable environmental and social impact. The pair initially collaborated on investments at Cornell’s Big Red Venture Fund two decades prior.

Beyond capital, Triple Impact Capital supports its portfolio companies through its Foundation to Scale program, designed to help founders achieve product/market fit, refine go-to-market strategies, and secure subsequent financing rounds. They also provide access to an Executive Network of industry leaders and functional experts. Notable investments include companies like Kanvas Biosciences, Metriport, Bandana, and Cephable, spanning sectors such as enterprise applications, life sciences, and consumer technology.
