Town Hall Ventures is a New York‑based venture capital firm founded in 2018 by Andy Slavitt, former head of the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, along with David Whelan and Trevor Price. The firm is dedicated to supporting healthcare technology and service startups innovating to serve underserved U.S. communities—particularly those covered by Medicare and Medicaid. It sets itself apart by committing substantial strategic support, networks, and operational resources alongside capital.

Since inception, Town Hall Ventures has invested in roughly 30–80 companies, with a focus on high‑impact healthcare players such as Cityblock Health, Unite Us, Bright Health, Landmark Health, Strive Health, Thyme Care, Plume, Curana Health and others. Seven of its first fifteen investments have grown to unicorn valuations, and it maintains a concentrated portfolio of category‑defining businesses.

The firm has raised three flagship funds: $115 million (Fund I), $270 million (Fund II), and $350 million (Fund III). With AUM crossing the $1 billion threshold, Town Hall Ventures is now targeting a $400 million Fund IV. They continue to pursue high-growth healthcare ventures addressing primary care, behavioral health, value‑based care delivery, and social determinants of health.
