Teachers' Venture Growth (TVG) is the late-stage venture and growth equity investment arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (Ontario Teachers'). Established in 2019, TVG was initially known as the Teachers' Innovation Platform before rebranding to better reflect its focus on late-stage venture and growth equity investments. Since its inception, TVG has rapidly grown its global investment portfolio, demonstrating a commitment to disruptive and innovative businesses within the tech ecosystem. The firm actively leads financing rounds and takes an engaged role in supporting its portfolio companies, often securing board seats and offering a range of value-added services.

Notable investments include companies like SpaceX, Databricks, Lendable, FTX Trading Ltd. (an infrastructure play for crypto markets), Superhuman, Anthropic, Wayve, Kraken, Quantexa, DeepL, Alan, ComplyAdvantage, Taxfix, Bilt Rewards, Perfios, Xpressbees, Darwinbox, Octopus Energy Group, Grafana Labs, Gusto, and Epic Games. The firm invests directly in companies from Series B onward and also selectively commits to leading venture capital and growth equity funds.

The TVG team comprises over 30 dedicated global investment professionals with deep expertise across various industries. They operate from offices in key global financial and technology hubs, including Toronto, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mumbai, enabling a global mindset with a local approach to investments. Olivia Steedman serves as the Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Teachers' Venture Growth, having been a founding member of the Infrastructure and Natural Resources group at Ontario Teachers' before establishing TVG.
