Founded on December 19, 1977, SPDG originated as the holding company for the Périer-D'Ieteren family. Olivier Périer, Chairman of the Board and Chief Engagement Officer, became CEO in 2010 and has since expanded SPDG's investment activities. The firm leverages its multi-generational family values of courage, curiosity, fairness, entrepreneurship, and sustainability to build an entrepreneurial portfolio of controlled holdings.

Olivier Périer, an architect by training, possesses over two decades of experience in sustainable architecture, city infrastructure technologies, mobility, transport industries, and transformative M&A. Michel Allé, Vice-Chairman of the Board, has extensive experience in corporate investment and asset management. Denis Pettiaux, Director & CFO, specializes in strategy, corporate finance, and network-based industries, while Francesco D'Amico advises international families on governance and investment management. The team's combined experience spans listed assets, operational activities, impact investments, venture capital, and philanthropy.
