The firm was founded in 2020 as a joint venture between Melissa Facchina's operations firm, Siddhi Ops, and the family office of Brian Finn, former CEO of Credit Suisse, USA. Brian Finn, along with his son Steven Finn, are co-founders, with Brian Finn also serving as Chairman. This unique founding structure has enabled Siddhi Capital to provide comprehensive in-house operational support, including sales strategy, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and manufacturing expertise, to its portfolio companies.

Siddhi Capital has made numerous investments, with a focus on growth-stage CPG businesses and food technology companies. Notable portfolio companies include Magic Spoon, Mid-Day Squares, Momofuku Goods, Super Coffee, Cirkul, Immi Ramen, and Plantible. The firm successfully raised $135 million for its second fund in July 2024, doubling the size of its initial fund. This second fund emphasizes fewer but larger investments, aiming to lead growth rounds and expand into adjacent sectors such as health & wellness, beauty, personal care, pets, and alcohol.
