Founded in 2017 by Leena Dandekar, Abha Dandekar, and Vivek Dandekar, Raintree Family Office emerged from the family's deep-seated commitment to combating climate change and promoting sustainable development. Leena Dandekar, who previously served on the Board of Directors of the Camlin Group, leads the firm in building its socially conscious investment portfolio. Abha Dandekar contributes to strategic decision-making and human resources, driven by her interest in sustainability and mental health. Vivek Dandekar co-founded the firm to address climate change through impact investing and philanthropy, focusing on sustainability, resilience, and greener consumption patterns.

The firm's investment portfolio includes companies such as Furlenco, SEDEMAC, Dunzo, Proklean Technologies, and Grameen Capital. Raintree Family Office primarily engages in Series A and Series C funding rounds, demonstrating a commitment to supporting growth-stage companies. The leadership team brings diverse expertise to the Raintree Family Office. Leena Dandekar, the Founder and Principal, has a background in economics, finance, and law, coupled with strategic and operational experience from the Camlin Group. Co-founder Abha Dandekar holds an MBA and an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management, bringing corporate HR experience and a passion for sustainability. Vivek Dandekar, also a co-founder, has a law degree and a management studies background with finance specialization, alongside experience in wealth management and corporate law.
