Open CNP

Open CNP is the corporate venture capital fund of CNP Assurances, a prominent French personal insurer. Established in 2016, the firm manages a €100 million fund dedicated to financing and supporting the growth of disruptive European startups. Open CNP primarily invests between €500,000 and €5 million, targeting companies from Seed to Series B stages. Their investment focus spans several key sectors, including FinTech, InsurTech, E-Health, B2B Services, and Impact & CSR, aiming to foster innovation within areas relevant to CNP Assurances' core business.

The program was launched in 2016 as part of CNP Assurances' digital strategy, with the goal of financially supporting innovative startups and developing mutually beneficial partnerships. Open CNP leverages the extensive expertise and network of its parent company, CNP Assurances, to provide strategic support, mentorship, and opportunities for business collaboration to its portfolio companies. This approach allows them to jointly create new products and services, challenge business models, and identify specific talent for further development.

Open CNP has built a diverse portfolio of innovative companies. Notable investments include Alan, a provider of health insurance and well-being services; Moneybox, an app-based platform for saving and investing; and Lydia, a mobile payment platform. Other portfolio companies span various tech and service areas, such as Yes We Hack (bug bounty platform), InterCloud (cloud networking), October (P2P business loans), CybelAngel (cybersecurity), mySofie, Stratumn, and SESAMm.
