Movens Capital is a multi-stage venture capital fund dedicated to supporting tech companies originating from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the CEE diaspora. The firm focuses on early-stage and growth startups with global ambitions, aiming for market leadership in the EU, US, or worldwide. They typically invest initial checks ranging from €0.25 million to €3 million, with follow-on investments potentially reaching up to €5 million. Movens Capital seeks founders who are building towards €50 million+ in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), developing products at the forefront of the AI revolution, and establishing strong competitive advantages.

The firm was founded in 2018 by a team of experienced tech founders and operators turned investors. They launched their first institutional fund, Movens Fund 1, in 2020, which invested €14 million in 20 tech startups. This was followed by Movens Growth Equity and subsequently Movens Fund 2, which has €60 million reserved for top early-stage and growth startups. Movens Capital emphasizes a hands-on approach, providing founders with direct access to a network of international VCs and operational experts, including in-house pricing strategy support.

Movens Capital's portfolio showcases a diverse range of tech companies, including notable investments such as Vue Storefront, Packhelp, Doctor.one, Demoboost, SKY ENGINE AI, and Talkie.ai. Other portfolio companies include Netsprint, Fenige, and Salad Story. These investments span various sectors, reflecting the firm's interest in areas like AI, eCommerce, Fintech, SaaS, Marketplaces, Edtech, and the Future of Life and Work. The firm's portfolio companies have collectively attracted €110 million in follow-on funding.

The Movens Capital team comprises individuals with extensive backgrounds in building and scaling technology companies. Their leadership team collectively boasts over 150 years of tech experience, having built and sold multiple tech companies, managed over €500 million in transactions, and created more than 1,000 tech jobs. They have been actively involved in AI and machine learning since 2015. Key team members include partners Artur Banach, Łukasz Pawłowski, and Radosław Rejman, who bring expertise in areas such as adtech, martech, M&A advisory, investment banking, and corporate finance.
