Prior to founding Merewether Investment Management, he held significant roles, including Portfolio Manager for public market energy investments at Carlson Capital from 2011-2017, Managing Director at Och-Ziff Capital Management from 2005-2010, and an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in the power and energy sectors, where he also worked as an investment analyst on the proprietary trading desk managing a global energy investment strategy.
