The Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board (PRIM) is a leading global institutional investor, managing the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust (PRIT). PRIM's mission is to provide a professional investment management structure that maximizes the investment return of the pension reserves in a manner consistent with the fiduciary responsibility to ensure the benefits to members and contribute to the financial strength of the public retirement systems. The organization is responsible for investing and managing the assets of the Massachusetts State employees' and teachers' retirement systems, as well as the assets of 106 other pension funds across the state.
