LCOR was established in 1992 when its principals acquired the assets of The Linpro Company, a national real estate development and investment corporation founded in 1978. This acquisition allowed LCOR to maintain the executive alignment and leverage the extensive experience of its predecessors. In 2012, GI Partners, in a joint venture with CalSTRS, acquired the LCOR business and its assets, further solidifying the firm's investment capabilities and development pipeline.

The firm's portfolio showcases a range of notable projects across its target markets, including 1515 Surf in Brooklyn, NY; Park 151 in Cambridge, MA; Sage in Arlington, VA; Cielo in Washington, D.C.; The Ryland in Philadelphia, PA; Hoboken Connect in Hoboken, NJ; and Altaire in National Landing, VA. LCOR is also committed to sustainability, actively working to minimize environmental impacts through sustainable practices and a transition to a lower-carbon future, including involvement in some of the largest geothermal projects on the East Coast.
