The origins of Kulczyk Investments trace back to 1991 with the establishment of Kulczyk Holding by Polish businessman Jan Kulczyk. Building on the success of Kulczyk Holding, which was instrumental in Poland's economic transformation, an international investment group was formally constituted in 2007 under the name Kulczyk Investments SA, headquartered in Luxembourg. Following Jan Kulczyk's passing, the firm is now managed as the family office of his son, Sebastian Kulczyk, representing the fourth generation of entrepreneurs.

Kulczyk Investments maintains a diversified portfolio spanning strategic economic sectors. Key investment areas include new technologies, chemicals, real estate, infrastructure, energy, and mineral resources. Notable holdings include Qemetica, a significant chemical manufacturer, Beyond.pl, a data center operator, NOHO Investment, a real estate developer, and QKR Corporation, a mining venture. The firm has also invested in companies like Orange Polska, Fibaro, Serinus Energy, and through its venture capital arm, Manta Ray VC, supports early-stage technology companies such as BaseLinker, Booksy, CLARK, and Finiata, focusing on education, biotechnology, and digital infrastructure.

Sebastian Kulczyk, as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and owner, is an international investor deeply involved in the new technologies sector and the founder of Manta Ray VC. Other key team members include Marek Kośnik, Deputy Chairman, with expertise in strategy and digital transformation; Hugues Delcourt, an experienced banker and former CEO; Hans Vanoorbeek, with extensive private equity experience; Krzysztof Andrzejewski, an executive in finance and risk management; and Jarosław Romanowski, an expert in the raw materials sector and international trade.
