Founded in 2020, Kayyak Ventures was established with a clear mission to mobilize private financing into innovation and impact investment across Latin America. Andrés Pesce, CEO & Partner, brought over a decade of experience in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship to the firm's founding team. Cristóbal Silva, also a Partner, joined with a vision to contribute to the burgeoning LatAm venture capital ecosystem, recognizing the region's talent in solving real-world problems. The firm has expanded its operational footprint, notably opening an office in Mexico in October 2024, led by Manuel Sescosse, to strengthen connections and create opportunities between Mexico and South America.

Notable investments include HealthAtom, a cloud-based operating system for healthcare clinics in Latam; Xepelin, which provides financial services and capital to small and medium-sized enterprises; Timining, a company developing digital twins for the mining industry; Fracttal, a predictive maintenance and asset management software; and Galgo, which facilitates access to vehicle financing. Other key portfolio companies are Webdox, specializing in contract lifecycle management; AgendaPro, an operating system for SMBs in the beauty, health, and wellness sectors; Henry, a tech academy focused on accessible technical education; and Foodology, a virtual restaurant group. Kayyak Ventures has made over 50 investments, including in companies like Enerlink in the utilities sector and Wheel the World, which provides accessible travel experiences.
