The Green Capital group was founded in 1999 and is spearheaded by Nitin Shakdher, a third-generation member of the Shakdher Family. Nitin Shakdher is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, bringing extensive experience in marketing, business, and financial markets investments since 1998. He began his investing journey at the age of 18, laying the groundwork for the firm's long-term investment philosophy.

As an active investor, Green Capital has made investments in companies such as Kaynes Technology, Gokin Solar, and ACE Battery. The firm primarily targets Series B funding rounds in China-based companies, while also extending its investments to India. Its portfolio spans various sectors, including Energy and Environment, reflecting a commitment to diverse and impactful opportunities.
