DCVC is a deep tech firm co-founded by Matt Ocko and Zachary Bogue.

DCVC has experienced venture capitalists with more than 35 technology executives and experts (CTOs, CIOs, Chief Scientists, Principal Engineers, Professors at Stanford and Berkeley). DCVC focuses on seed, Series A, and growth stage companies that apply deep compute, big data and IT infrastructure technologies to transform giant industries.

In 2018, the firm established DCVC Bio, co-founded by its four Managing Partners Dr. John Hamer, Dr. Kiersten Stead, Matt, and Zack. Together, they have formed an investment team that applies a deep understanding of genetics, chemistry, molecular biology, agriculture, industrial fermentation, and AI to DCVC Bio’s three funds.
