Danone Ventures is the corporate venture arm of Danone, a global food and beverage company. Established to bring the Danone Manifesto to life, the firm invests in disruptive entrepreneurs and innovative food and food tech businesses. Its mission is to foster a healthy and sustainable future of food by partnering with companies that are transforming eating and drinking habits and changing consumer engagement.

Founded in 2016, Danone Ventures was launched with the strategic intent to acquire 20 to 25 startup companies by 2020, initially allocating a budget of $150 million. The firm was created to support Danone's broader vision of promoting health through food and addressing evolving consumer preferences for healthier, more sustainable, and plant-based options. It operates with an international team based in New York City and Paris.

Danone Ventures has built a diverse portfolio of companies across various stages, from early to growth. Notable investments include Farmer's Fridge, Harmless Harvest, Michel et Augustin, Nature's Fynd, Ready, Set, Food!, Symbrosia, Imagindairy, and Standing Ovation. These investments span areas such as plant-based products, sustainable food systems, personalized nutrition, alternative proteins, and solutions for reducing environmental impact in agriculture.
