The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF) is a public employee retirement system established by the State of Illinois in 1895. It serves more than 89,000 members and administers benefits totaling more than $1.5 billion annually. The fund provides for the financial security of individuals who serve, or have served, the Chicago Public Schools/Charter Schools through a career in public service as teachers, principals, and administrators.
