Camden Partners is a growth equity investment firm founded in 1995 that specializes in lower middle market control-oriented transactions. The firm manages multiple investment strategies, including growth equity and structured capital, with a primary focus on software and technology-enabled business services companies. Camden Partners partners with established management teams to accelerate growth and build sustainable value, leveraging domain expertise, operating experience, and an extended network of resources across their target sectors.

The firm was founded by David Warnock, who previously spent 12 years at T. Rowe Price as co-manager of the New Horizons Fund and founded two private equity funds with the same investment strategy. Since its inception, Camden Partners has maintained a focused approach on lower middle market companies, building deep expertise and relationships within their core sectors over more than 25 years of consistent investing.

Camden Partners has completed over 115 investments across its portfolio with 50 portfolio exits and manages 17 closed funds. Notable portfolio companies and investments include Ingo Money, a risk-decisioning platform for banks and check cashers; Prolexic Technologies, a cyber-security services company acquired by Akamai Technologies; Ranir, which became the largest private-label oral-care manufacturer in the world; American Public University, developed into the largest online training provider for US active military and their families; and Concorde Career Colleges. The firm has also invested in companies like OutMatch, formed through the merger of Assess Systems and Chequed.com, and CIBT Education Group Inc., one of Canada's largest education and student housing investment companies.

The leadership team includes Founder and Partner David L. Warnock, Managing Partners J. Todd Sherman and Jason R. Tagler, VP of Finance Yutao Zhang, and Operating Partners and Advisors Demian Costa and Greg Moran. Jason Tagler joined the firm in 2005 and brings experience from investment banking at Alliant Partners and Robertson Stephens, with a background in technology consulting at Price Waterhouse. The team is committed to providing strategic guidance on organic growth, acquisitions, customer introductions, and management recruitment to help portfolio companies scale from $10 million to $100 million-plus in revenue.
