The origins of BVC Ventures trace back to 1960 when the BVC Group was founded as a customs brokerage enterprise in Mumbai, India. Over the decades, the group expanded its operations, becoming a market leader across various industries including logistics, trade, security, tourism, and investments. In 2013, the BVC Group diversified further, growing beyond its core logistics businesses and officially launching its venture studio model, BVC Ventures.

BVC Ventures has a diverse portfolio of businesses and investments. Notable portfolio companies include BVC Logistics, recognized as India's largest domestic secure logistics enterprise, and BVC Brinks, India's largest international secure logistics enterprise. In the technology space, the firm has invested in Vamaship, described as the world's first integrated logistics platform, and Riyalto, a jewellery B2B marketplace. Other technology investments include Aznog, Instasafe, Ketto, Kwench, Meddo, and Zepo.

The firm's leadership includes Manisha Uday Chinai and Bhavik Uday Chinai, who serve as Directors. Bhavik Chinai also holds the position of Group CEO for BVC Logistics, demonstrating deep expertise in the logistics and jewellery value chains, which are core investment areas for BVC Ventures. The team leverages over 50 years of experience from the broader BVC Group, along with a network of advisors, investors, and operational teams, to support its portfolio companies.
