The Brain Tumor Investment Fund (BTIF) is a venture philanthropy fund and subsidiary of the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), leveraging over 30 years of NBTS’s expertise to support the development of innovative treatments for brain tumors. BTIF invests philanthropic capital into biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies focused on brain tumor diagnostics and therapeutics, aiming to bridge the gap between academic discovery and commercial product development.

BTIF acts as a convener and catalyst for private sector investment in the brain tumor space, fostering a robust and diverse market for drug development. The fund targets early-stage companies (pre-seed to Series A) with promising brain tumor assets, including small molecules, biologics, gene and cell therapies, vaccines, and medical devices.
