Antler is a global early-stage venture capital firm that partners with exceptional founders from "day zero" to build and scale impactful companies. The firm operates a unique model that combines elements of an incubator and accelerator, providing a structured environment for entrepreneurs to find co-founders, validate business ideas, and develop their Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Antler is sector-agnostic but has a strong focus on technology, particularly being recognized as one of the most active investors in AI startups globally. Antler was founded in 2017 by Magnus Grimeland and Fridtjof Berge, with its headquarters in Singapore. Grimeland, a Harvard graduate and former McKinsey partner, co-founded Zalora Group before establishing Antler. His motivation stemmed from observing talented technology workers in roles that didn't fully utilize their potential, leading him to create a platform that empowers such individuals to launch their own businesses. The firm's first program launched in Singapore in 2018, attracting a large pool of applicants and successfully generating its initial cohort of funded companies.

Antler has built a substantial portfolio of over 1,800 startups globally, including two unicorns: Airalo and Lovable. Other notable investments span various industries and include companies like Reebelo, Wrtn, Peec.AI, Capsa AI, and Benjamin. The firm's investment strategy extends beyond initial pre-seed and seed funding, with its Antler Elevate fund providing follow-on capital for later-stage growth, from Series A onwards, to support its most promising portfolio companies.

The Antler leadership team comprises serial entrepreneurs, experienced operators, and seasoned investors. Founder and CEO Magnus Grimeland brings a background from McKinsey & Company and co-founding Zalora. Co-founder Fridtjof Berge also has a background in consulting and e-commerce. The global partner team includes individuals with experience from leading organizations such as Google, Spotify, Goldman Sachs, and Techstars, offering deep expertise across various technology sectors and a strong network to support founders.
