Altara Ventures is a Singapore-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investments in transformative technology startups across Southeast Asia and beyond. The firm was officially launched in 2020, though its founding partners have decades of combined experience in building, scaling, and investing in companies since the 1990s. The firm typically invests in pre-Series A, Series A, and Series B rounds, with an initial check size ranging from $3-5 million.

The Altara Ventures team comprises general partners and investors with extensive operating and investing experience across Asia and the U.S. Key team members include Chairman and General Partner Koh Boon Hwee, General Partners Seow Kiat Wang, Tan Chow Boon, Dave Ng, and Gavin Teo.
